What readers will see

ReaderPassport adds a small continuity card to article pages. First-time readers can start a trail. Returning readers can reopen their portable reading trail and continue across participating sites.

How it works

ReaderPassport stores local reading continuity in the reader’s browser and sends lightweight page events to ReaderPassport. A one-time per-site bootstrap connects that site to the reader’s portable passport so future visits can flow into the same reading trail.

Privacy

ReaderPassport is built for lightweight reading continuity, not invasive tracking. It stores site-level continuity locally in the browser and uses a portable passport ID to reconnect the reader’s trail across participating sites.
